Festa de Gràcia (making of). Barcelona

I’m back from the region of Valencia and Barcelona. If I only could stay… Yesterday in Gràcia (which has become my absolutely favourite zone of Barcelona, beating the gothic one) began the Festa. Do I want to be there right now to photograph everything! Anyway, I had a very good reason to come back – … Continue reading

Sweet lazy life. Almagro

So, during my holidays in Portugal my dad had to go to Spain for a business meeting and I decided to go with him. That was a wrong decision because instead of sitting in a car for seven hours, one way, I could just sit on a Portuguese beach instead. But you know, YOLO and … Continue reading

Barri Gòtic. Barcelona

When I came back from Barcelona, I told you that till the last day I wasn’t really satisfied with the pictures that I’d taken. Till the last day. That’s when, instead of walking through La Rambla again, we entered the Barri Gòtic. I took some pictures of the picturesque, narrow streets, some of which I … Continue reading

The Palm Sunday. Barcelona

I took this picture on the Palm Sunday and I just love how many little stories you can find in it. The balloons are the first thing you’re paying attention to, but there are absolutely no kids on the picture. Why is the woman who’s selling them so serious? What is she thinking about? There … Continue reading

Let’s go get lost. Barcelona

Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to enter most of Barcelona’s “must-sees”. The prices of the tickets and the amount of people waiting to enter succesfully made us look for other options. Luckily, we went to the Horta Labyrinth… Even more luckily, we managed to escape as well.

The panoramas. Barcelona

Well, this time those will be no panoramas of spectacular nature. Sorry. I was in Barcelona last week and, I have to be honest with you, most of the time I was just taking random pictures. For some reason not many things had caught my eye (which happily changed the very last day, but I … Continue reading

Light vs. architecture. Seville

OK now, what’s that? Well, Seville’s “setas” (mushrooms) or rather the Metropol Parasol de la Encarnación. You can go up on a view terrace and admire the stunning panorama of the city. So I went up and what I give you instead? Something that caught my eye – the chiaroscuro of this 26-meter-tall, wooden construction.

Another kind of mandala. Sevilla

The vault in Seville’s cathedral is simply breathtaking. Isn’t it? It’s yet another picture, after the crucifix I presented you recently and the ceiling of Monseratte palace that makes me glad I simply looked up. The catholic cathedral itself used to be a mosque in the beginning of its existence. So why shouldn’t we add … Continue reading

A bit of summer. Sevilla

Freshly squeezed orange juice for any of you? Well, I wouldn’t really recommend that. I guess the lemons you can see on the picture were actually sweeter than the oranges. Last days in Lisbon looked like a perfect spring to me. Bright, warm days. I mean like April, or even May in Poland. And it’s … Continue reading

A walk on the beach. Cadiz

Well… that definitely was the first time in my life, when I spent almost the entire day on the beach. I mean, in the beginning of February.
